YOUR PHOTOS: Ratterree turns 100 years old Tuesday

Ruby Ratterree, a lifelong resident of Texas County and currently a resident of Houston House, turned 100 years old on June 11. The Houston Herald published an article May 14, 2017, about the connection Ruby has with Love A Child, Inc., a non-profit Christian humanitarian organization that serves the needs of children in Haiti.

Ruby sews dresses for the little girls that have very little there. She said in her article she wanted to keep doing it until she’s 100. Ruby has met her goal!

If you would like to send her a card in honor of her 100th birthday, they can be mailed to Houston House, c/o Ruby Ratterree, P.O. Box 199, Room 212, Houston, Mo. 65483.
