Daniel Lee Roderick, an energy executive, of Houston; and Carla Palmateer, a government relations executive and lobbyist, of Florida, were united in marriage Sunday, June 24, during a sunset beach ceremony on Sunset Key, a private island off of Key West.
The groom, a graduate of Houston High School, is the son of the late Mildred and Leslie “Junior” Roderick, of Houston.
The bride is the daughter of Carl and Rosemary Palmateer of Crystal River, Fla.
The couple’s children, Logan Groleau, Arden Roderick and Matthew Roderick and wife, Kelly, as well as twin granddaughters and flower girls, Kate and Emily, and ring bearer, Matty Roderick, attended the oceanside ceremony.
The couple recently returned from living in Tokyo, Japan. They plan to reside in south Florida.
