Karen Robinson Gaston, 76, was born Aug. 22, 1943, and passed away Aug. 27, 2019, at home with family at her side. 

Mrs. Gaston was born in Murphysboro, Ill., to Richard and Katherine Mayes Robinson.

She is survived by her husband Bob, of Eunice, Mo., son, Frank Williams of Kansas City, daughters by marriage, Patty and Robin, both of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Gaston loved her family, home, fishing, gardening, farm life, crafts, teaching and the gift of quilting. Karen was an energetic wife, mother, grandmother, friend, neighbor and teacher of 30 years (fourth grade in Lindbergh School District, St. Louis, Mo.). 

She was always inclined to host and create memories for all.
