Donna Lynn Vogelsang, 55, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019.
She was born Dec. 10, 1963. She and Paul Vogelsang were married Oct. 26, 1987.
She spent most of her childhood in Raymondville, living and working on the family farm with her sisters, helping out with everything from planting gardens to de-icing ponds for cattle. She raised her own rabbits, doves, goats and other animals. She also enjoyed cheerleading, fishing, painting and speaking at FFA events.
She loved going to flea markets, yard sales and auctions. She enjoyed being outside around a campfire or stargazing on clear nights, fishing, outdoor activities, gardening, playing cards, board and video games as well as music.
She fought the autoimmune disease Polymyositis for 17 years. She beat the odds after being diagnosed and given two years to live.
She and her family farmed and ran an art business online. In the early 2000s, she launched multiple e-commerce websites from scratch, building and coding them herself from start to finish. In 2016 she became the owner of ADGA registered dairy goats.
A private family burial was held in Barnett Cemetery.
