The Houston board of education extended the contracts of its building administrators during a meeting Tuesday.

Contracts for the 2021-2022 school year were extended to Jody Jarrett, elementary principal; Amanda Munson, middle school principal; Justin Copley, high school principal; Eric Sloan, assistant high school principal; and Jennifer Johnson, Exceptional Child Cooperative administrator.

The board also accepted resignations from Jeff Richardson, middle school assistant boys’ basketball coach; and Tamara Buse, elementary teacher, at the end of the school year. Members also accepted a resignation/retirement from Carla Mitchell; and resignation of Drew Jordan effective Feb. 21 as a paraprofessional.

The board hired Brent Kell as golf coach for the 2019-’20 school year.
