The West Plains Model Railroad club will have a display in the Harper Bldg. at the Ozark Regional Fairgrounds in West Plains, Mo. during the month of October. The show is open to the public; Thursdays and Fridays from 3 to 7pm, Saturdays 10am to 4pm and Sundays 12 noon to 4pm. It is free to attend, although donations are always welcome. The WP Railroad Club has member from the ages to 8 to 80. The club is open to anyone that has an interest in trains and model railroading to join. Each member of the club builds their own 2ft by 4ft model train module that gets connected to each of the other members modules to make a railroad show.  Each member of the club builds their module with it's own theme.  These modules vary from cities, farms, medieval festivals, golf courses and camping, fishing and boating lodges and mountains with forests.  The artistic quality of these train modules are amazing. The buildings, hills, rocks, streams, and trees are all hand made and hand painted.
This is a must see show for anyone, from artists and crafters to families with young children.
