The annual Raymondville Picnic – featuring games, entertainment and two nights of rodeo action – has been announced for June 13-15.

Admission and parking are free for the annual event. The midway will be provided by Big D’s Amusement and the two-night rodeo on Friday and Saturday will be presented by the Ozark Rodeo Association. It will include broncs and bulls, roping, barrels, mutton bustin and calf riding.

All three nights will include drawings, food, dancing and bingo. Armbands for carnival rides are $15 in advance or $20 on the grounds.

The picnic kicks off Thursday with kids’ games and prizes. Smokey Bear will be present. That evening’s musical act is Pat & The Boys featuring Roy Stevenson.

The following night Rhubarb Jam takes the stage and the rodeo begins.

The final night will feature Garold McCoy & South 63 Band as well as the conclusion of the rodeo. There will also be a jig contest.

Call-ins to enter an event will be Monday, June 10. The number is 573-793-3193.
