HMS basketball

Korbyn Tune and Hunter McKinney scored 11 points apiece in the Houston eighth-grade boys' basketball team's 44-36 win Tuesday against Licking.

Cooper Mills added nine points for the Tigers and Josh Smith had six.

On Monday, Tune scored 12 points in a 48-32 home loss to St. James.

SEVENTH GRADE: Colton Stewart hit five 3-pointers en route to 16 points in the Tigers' 42-34 loss Tuesday to Licking.

Anthony Caroll had seven points for Houston, which trailed 13-2 after the opening quarter.

On Monday, Stewart had seven points and Hall added six in a 55-18 home loss to St. James.
