The annual Houston Lady Tigers Softball Camp is set for Wednesday through Friday, May 29-31.
Houston High School softball head coach Jim Moore and several helpers will conduct sessions for players in grades 3 through 5 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and for players in grades 6 through 8 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Wednesday’s session at Carter Field will cover fielding, throwing and fundamentals, while Thursday’s session at the Piney River Hitting Facility will cover hitting (participants should meet at Carter Field before being bussed to the facility) and Friday’s session at Carter Field will include baserunning and a scrimmage.
