Updated at 5:12 p.m. Hunters had shot about 115,000 deer as of early Wednesday evening across Missouri, the fifth day of the fall firearms deer season.

Texas County is first with 2,579 deer killed. Second is Howell County with 2,457.

In Texas County, the count is 1,174 bucks, 321 button bucks and 1,084 does.

Across Missouri, the total shows 53,768 bucks, 15,364 button bucks and 46,116 does.
