Two persons were injured Friday morning when a large deer crossed in front of their van west of Licking, causing a collision.

Tpr. Curtis Hubbs of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the eastbound 1996 Dodge Caravan was driven by Polly J. Richardson, 44, of Licking. Richardson and a passenger, Daniel E. Richardson, 44, also of Licking, were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Hubbs said both front seat airbags were deployed. Mrs. Richardson was wearing a seat belt, he said.
