Members of Fleet Reserve Association Branch 364 and American Legion Post 41 held a flag disposal ceremony Sept. 15 at the American Legion hall in Houston for Houston fifth graders.

Veterans participating were Claude Sutton, adjunct of American Legion Post 41; Bob Simpson, secretary; Mike Miller, commander; and James Miller, first vice commander. Sutton fielded discussion during a question and answer time.

Following the disposal ceremony, students were served refreshments by Sue Simpson, president of the Fleet Reserve; and Rita Miller, secretary. Patriotic pens, pencils and coloring books were given to the students.
