Houston Police Investigate Accidents, Issue Citations
Houston police investigated a three-car collision last Thursday on South Sam Houston Blvd.
Police cited Iva May Fernandes, 65, of Salem, with disobeying an electric signal after a Sept. 11 accident near Holder Drive and South Sam Houston Blvd. Police said Fernandes drove through a red traffic signal and struck a truck operated by Tessa S. Dixon, 24, of Raymondville. The impact caused the Dixon vehicle to struck another operated by John M. Coats, 53, of West Plains.
-Investigated an accident involving a pedestrian Sept. 11 at Grand Avenue and Main Street in Houston. Police said there are varying accounts of what happened. The driver was Nadine E. Stark, 77, of 504 N. Grand Ave. The pedestrian, Laura Louise Sciotto, 56, of 108 Cedar St., was taken to TCMH following the incident.
-Cited Mark K. White, 51, of 634 Cleveland Road, with failing to register a motor vehicle annually with the Missouri Department of Revenue on Sept. 12.
-Cited Susan V. Dipiano, 54, of Ballwin, with disobeying an electric signal on Sept. 6.
-Investigated an accident on Rosebud Drive on Sept. 9 that police said occurred when two vehicles backing from driveways collided. The drivers were Christy L. Herndon, 37, 114 Redbud, and Elisha K. Slattery,
