Separate single-vehicle accidents last week injured two Texas County residents, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Justin W. Miller, 18, of Licking, was injured 12 miles south of Rolla on U.S. 63 when his northbound 2001 Ford Mustang slid off the roadway on the left side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, returned to the highway, crossed the centerline and struck a second guardrail on the right side.

The patrol said Miller, who sustained minor injuries, was to seek his own treatment. He was wearing a seat belt, said Cpl. G.A. Dubois.

A Plato woman was hurt on Highway 28 three miles south of Dixon when her vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

Eva Andrade, 45, of Plato, was transported to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla with moderate injuries, the patrol said. She was wearing a seat belt, said Cpl. C.A. Bogart.
