A Summersville woman was injured Monday night when a truck struck a tree in southeast Texas County. It fell from a storm in the northbound lane of Highway Y, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Sgt. Dewayne Gale of the patrol said Scott D. Woolsey, 51, of Summersville, was traveling northbound when the accident occurred. A passenger, Deborah J. Woolsey, 49, sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View with minor injuries.
